Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Sönke Christian Niedringhaus

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Niedringhaus is a German staff officer at the Public Affairs department of the German Army Command and was the director of the media information centre for Quadriga 2024 exercise series.

Before that he served at NATO StratCom COE in Riga from 2019 to 2023. In this capacity he supported NATO and Allies training & education as lecturer and Subject Matter Expert. His field of expertise particularly covers Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, PsyOps and InfoOps.

He previously worked for the Bundeswehr Operational Communications Centre and served as InfoOps Officer for U.N. MINUSMA in Mali.

He holds a master’s degree in political science and a Ph.D. in political philosophy and ethics.
