Richard Sherburne

Allied Command Transformation

Richard (Ric) Sherburne is a transformation strategist with a background in military planning, operational research, enterprise business management, and international negotiation. Currently, he’s disrupting conventional thinking as senior strategic concept analyst at NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT).

After a career in the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence, he joined NATO as a civilian analyst, supporting the NATO Defence Planning Process (NDPP) and Federated Mission Networking (FMN).

More recently, he joined ACT’s Concept Development branch, helping to identify and understand emerging requirements from key Alliance concepts in Multi Domain Operations and the Cognitive Superiority related areas.
