Dr. Jana Poetzschke is Senior Researcher at the Bundeswehr Center for Public Affairs, Development Division. As a political scientist, she focuses on public opinion on security and defense policy, especially with regard to the Bundeswehr. She has extensive expertise in communication studies, political communication and media analysis. Her main focus lies on the evaluation of communication campaigns in order to measure their impact and effectiveness. Her work is essential in understanding how military and defense issues and policies are understood and discussed by the media and public.
