Darius Buta

Darius Buta is a Senior Advisor at the National Crisis Management Centre (NCMC) in the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

His responsibilities include coordinating public authorities' response to crises and state-level emergencies, leading efforts to counter disinformation, and participating as an expert in the OECD Information Integrity Hub.

With 20 years of experience, Darius has a strong background in strategic, crisis, and political communication. He previously led communications at the State Tax Inspectorate, worked as a journalist, and managed business development and corporate affairs in the private sector.
