ACO/eFF Web Management and Writing Standards Course 2022

The next ACO Public Affairs Web Management and Standards course will be held on May 11 to 12, 2022  and will be held in person at E-Forum Factory in Ronse, Belgium.

Registration will be open until April 25, 17:00 CET. After closing, we will assess all accepted candidates. Those accepted will receive further course and joining instructions.

Due to increased interest in this course, seats will be allocated on a priority basis with no more than two people per command. Furthermore, there will be a non-refundable 220 Euro registration fee.

This course is a valuable and important learning opportunity to renew our capabilities in managing our websites and will cover the basics of the current Content Management System and also focus on content strategy and common writing standards.

The end goal of the course is to ensure consistent publishing standards across all Allied Command Operations websites and all other websites within NATO that have joined the ACO website synchronisation initiative.

Our websites are our window to the outside world and must therefore be professional, consistent and adhere to ACO policy at all times. This course is hosted by the e-Forum Factory Company augmented by SHAPE staff. The firm is responsible for the design and maintenance of our websites.

Be advised that it is ACO Policy for ALL web editors to be formally trained before receiving access to command websites.
