Background Information
Exercise Steadfast Defender 2021 is a collective defence exercise and the first in a new series of long-planned events to ensure that our forces are trained, able to operate together, and ready to respond to any threat from any direction.
The JAPDD seeks to demonstrate the military capabilities of NATO Allies and their ability to work together to keep our nations safe in a fast-evolving security environment. The training has seen some 4,000 troops from 13 nations and more than 600 vehicles and aircraft train together. A representative force will demonstrate these capabilities during the above event.
