Corporal Eric Lundquist was born and raised in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, USA. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Pacific Lutheran University in 2012. In 2014 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and has previously been stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and Camp Humphreys, Korea. As part of the Eighth United States Army Band in Korea, he performed for Jinhae Cherry Blossom, Gyeryong Ground Forces, and Daegu Chimac festivals, as well as providing bugle calls for the repatriation of 55 sets of Korean War remains to the United Nations Command from North Korea. He has shared the stage with prominent jazz artists such as Carl Saunders, Scott Whitfield, Allen Vizzutti, David Marriott, Don Immel, Mike Lewis, and Jay Thomas. Corporal Lundquist serves in the SHAPE International Band as a solo trumpet player in the NATO Jazz Orchestra, NATO Jazz Combo, and Task Force X.
