Sergeant First Class Dylan Kruziki was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA. He has earned multiple degrees in music culminating in a Doctor of Music in Trumpet from Indiana University. Sergeant First Class Kruziki enlisted in the United States Army in 2010 and has since been assigned to Fort Bliss, Texas, USA; Fort Knox, Kentucky, USA; and as the trumpet instructor at the Army School of Music at Little Creek Amphibious Base, Virginia, USA. Sergeant First Class Kruziki has performed alongside jazz greats such as Michael Brecker, Byron Stripling, and Lewis Nash. He has been featured at the Montreux-Detroit Jazz Festival, the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Jazz Festival, and is a winner of the Indiana University Concerto Competition. Sergeant First Class Kruziki serves in the SHAPE International Band as a trumpet player in the NATO Jazz Orchestra.
