1. What do you miss most about home?

I miss many things, from the amazing fresh food to community. The life there is very lively, in all seasons I miss the chatting and drinking together with my friends at Café. Albanian restaurants are amazing from the prices to the fresh food and the best dishes. I miss the sense of the Albanian hospitality, because there everyone tries to help. I miss all the weekends that I used to visit all the historical town and beautiful old towns.

2. What have you found rewarding about working in such a multinational environment as SHAPE?

Working in SHAPE has given me much satisfaction, because I have dealing with many people from many nations with different background.

First of all, in the past never imaged that I will be working for SHAPE Protocol and serving SHAPE Command Group. Here. While I worked in SHAPE, I have met and served as a protocol assistant to many peoples, from all around the world, from King level to the Student level. I improved my language skills and I got very experienced and I increased my confidence. In four years I have built a big social network that I never had before.

3. What is something unique about Albania that others might not know?

This question sounds very hard because there are too many unique things, and if you ask everyone from any nations they will come up with many things, but among the Albanian Riviera and tradition and hospitality I would like to emphasise that on my personal opinion the most unique thing in Albania is :

Actually Albanians believe in many religions, but their main religious is their language "Albanian" that gathers all together , Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims.

4. During normal non COVID times how would you usually celebrate this national day?

For this special day the Albanian NMR office organises a big reception where many people are invited. The environment of the event a big screen is installed showing the Albanian History. All NATO members flags are displayed around and in the centre where the podium is placed are 3 flags NATO, SHAPE and Albania. Then the welcome speech is from NMR followed by food and drinks.
