Knowing NATO Crew

Master Sergeant Pia Dunkel joined the German Armed Forces in 2011. Before she started working in a NATO post she worked as a reporter and moderator at the German mission radio station “Radio Andernach” for which she also went on mission to Prizren, Kosovo.

She is currently stationed at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Belgium.

Alba D’Alcamo was born in Palermo, Italy. She has always worked in a multicultural environment and taken every chance to gain academic and professional experiences. Her passion for travelling and speaking foreign languages gives her

confidence while operating in tourism, hospitality and marketing.

Alba now brings her positive attitude and wealth of industry experience to the SHAPE Communications Division as a volunteer, exploring and supporting different sections such as production, social media, writing and more.
