Video: German Panzergrenadiere ready to defend Lithuania and the Alliance

NATO started enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA) after Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine in 2022 in order to strengthen the Alliance's eastern flank.

For the third time, the German Mechanised Infantry Brigade 41 "Vorpommern" have sent troops by road, sea, train and air to Lithuania for the GRIFFIN exercise series.

FAST GRIFFIN was held in Oct. 2022, GRIFFIN LIGHTNING in Mar. 2023 and most recently GRIFFIN STORM.
