Exercise Iron Wolf II tested the ability of nine NATO nations to carry out defensive operations and counter-attacks.

During one scenario, troops from the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic teamed up to launch a mock attack on a village defended by Dutch forces.

Each nation had Observer Controllers (OCTs) assigned to them to monitor the attacks and designate casualties.
