MONS, Belgium - Accompanied by the Chair of the NATO Military Committee (CMC), Admiral Rob Bauer, General Tod D. Wolters Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), travelled to Camp "Film City" in Pristina for a short visit with NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajári on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021.
The Alliance remains committed to ensuring stability in the Balkans while maintaining a flexible, deterrent presence as long as needed
"It's always reassuring to witness the dedication of the hard working men and women in KFOR. Their contributions to a safe and secure environment, over the past twenty-two years has been outstanding," said General Wolters.
During the engagement, the trio discussed the latest developments in the current security situation in Kosovo and the western Balkans region and KFOR's support to COVID-19 efforts.

"NATO's KFOR mission has a fundamental role as a stabilising force in the Western Balkans. The men and women who serve here are a pillar of security for the local population. Speaking to them today made me immensely proud," said Admiral Bauer.
NATO-KFOR's mission is to contribute to a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement as mandated by United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. In carrying out its mission, KFOR cooperates and assists the United Nations, the European Union and other international actors, as appropriate, to support the development of a stable and peaceful Kosovo.
