MONS, Belgium – Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Curtis M. Scaparrotti, hosted the SACEUR Commanders' Conference at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Nov. 8 - 9, 2018.

The conference brought together commanders from across Allied Command Operations to discuss issues of significance such as Trident Juncture 18 live exercise and updates on the NATO Command Structure Adaptation.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Chief of the Military Committee Air Chief Marshal Sir Stuart Peach also participated in the conference on the second day.

"Getting together face-to-face is important to engage with commanders and command senior enlisted leaders from across Allied Command Operations to discuss our critical role in NATO missions, training and operations," said General Scaparrotti. "I would also like to thank Secretary General Stoltenberg and Air Chief Marshal Peach for taking the time to meet with us and give their perspective on the way forward for this organisation."
