NATO CIS Group Commanders Conference held in Poland


MONS, Belgium NATO Communication and Information Systems Group (NCISG) Commander's Conference was held in Bydgoszcz, Poland,  June 11 to 13, 2018, bringing together commanders and senior enlisted leaders from NCISG.

The aim of the conference was to provide the opportunity for NCISG leaders to discuss and ascertain the best way to fulfil the assigned tasks as well as tackling the upcoming challenges.

The Conference also offered the occasion to award the NCISG personnel who distinguished themselves for outstanding performance throughout the year.

"NATO readiness relies on the pivotal role of NCISG as the main provider of deployable CIS capabilities during operations and exercises" said Major General Wolfgang E. RENNER. "I am very proud of my personnel, based on what I have seen during SFCT18 and confident that we have the leadership and the technical expertise to endure our efforts in an exceptional manner" he added.

The NCISG is the largest NATO organisation and the CIS service provider for deployed NATO headquarters.
