MONS, Belgium - The 10th NATO CIS Group (NCISG) Commanders Conference has concluded following two days of discussions from Jun. 12 to 14, 2017 in Grazzanise, Italy.

The conference provided an opportunity for NCISG leaders to discuss and identify the best way to carry out assigned tasks as well as tackling emerging challenges.

Commanders and Senior Enlisted Leaders were able to capitalize on the outcomes and lessons learned of the recently held Exercise STEADFAST COBALT 2017 (SFCT17), which ended on Jun. 2, 2017.

"NATO readiness also relies on the pivotal role of NCISG as the main provider of deployable CIS capabilities during operations and exercises" said Major General Walter Huhn, Commander of NCISG. "I am very content with the results of this Conference and confident that we have the leadership and the technical expertise to continue our efforts in an exceptional manner," he added.

The NATO CIS Group is the largest NATO Organisation and the CIS service provider for deployed NATO Headquarters.
