Stella Adorf is a NATO International Civilian and has served as the Chief
Historical Advisor to the Command Group at NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied
Powers Europe (SHAPE) since 2017. In her previous assignment, she deputized for
this position. From 2011 to 2013 she worked at the Legal Office and then in
Strategic Plans & Policy at HQ Supreme Allied Commander Transformation,
Norfolk, VA, USA. Dr. Adorf studied History, Political Science and Law and
holds a PhD in the history of the transatlantic relations. Before her career at
NATO, Stella worked as a researcher and lecturer at university and in the
industry. She specialized in transatlantic relations, history of law, history
of philosophy and political theory.

Doctor Linda Risso is a Consultant at SHAPE. She is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Historical Research in London. She is an expert on the history of European defence and security in the 20th century. Her research focuses on the historical development of the European Union and of NATO, and – more broadly – on the legacies of the Cold War in today’s security and strategic thinking. She is the author of Propaganda and Intelligence in the Cold War: The NATO Information Service. Routledge, 2014.
Master Sergeant Alex Burnett is a 14-year public affairs Soldier in the U.S. Army with service in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Senegal, Ukraine, Germany, Croatia, Romania and Belgium. Previously he worked on a podcast in support of the 82nd Airborne Division’s 100th Anniversary. He currently serves as a media operations specialist at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Mons, Belgium.
U.S. Navy Mass Communication 1st Class Brett Dodge is a native of South Carolina. He is a four year veteran who has supported missions in the Mediterranean Sea, Arabian Gulf, Africa, Europe and South America. He is currently stationed at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe located in Mons, Belgium.
