Mark Morgan

Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Morgan assumed duties as the Security Assistance Group-Ukraine Command Sergeant Major on June 1, 2024. Being dual-hatted, he is also the NSATU Senior Enlisted Advisor in the Office of the Commander. His assignments include HHC/1-75th Ranger Regt, Savannah, Georgia; HQ XVII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, United States Army Europe-Africa, Wiesbaden, Germany.

During the course of his career, he has held numerous leadership positions, including: Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, Battalion and Brigade Command Sergeant Major. His military education and training include: all levels of the Noncommissoned Officer Education System, U.S. Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Ranger School, Jumpmaster course, Combat Lifesaver course, Pathfinder course, Force Management course, Executive Leader course, and the Keystone course.

Command Sgt. Maj. Morgan’s awards and decorations include: Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Ranger Tab, Master Parachutist badge with combat jump star, Pathfinder badge, Combat Action Badge, and numerous other awards. Command Sgt.

Maj. Morgan's previous assignments include: 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Savannah, Georgia; 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Columbus, Georgia; Headquarters 75th Ranger Regiment in Columbus, Georgia; Special Troops Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Columbus, Georgia; Sustainment Brigade, 25th Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; 405th Army Field Support Brigade in Kaiserslautern, Germany; 21st Theater Sustainment Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany; the 7th Army Training Command in Grafenwoehr, Germany and the United States Army Europe and Africa Command in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Command Sgt. Maj. Morgan began his career as a Soldier in June 24,1994, after completing basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
