"It was a privilege to brief my Dutch peers on key operational activities within Allied Command Operations' area of responsibility during their visit to SHAPE today," said Dutch Brigadier General Nico Tak, Director of the CCOMC. "Keeping up-to-date with what is ongoing and how the Alliance is responding is important for all NATO nations and partners," he added.

The National Military Representative of The Netherlands at SHAPE, Captain (N) Georges van Aalst says "it's vital to promote the understanding of SHAPE as the "engine room" of NATO; most, if not all, decisions on policy and plans for NATO are being prepared or executed through SHAPE."

This is the second such visit of a high level delegation from The Netherlands to visit SHAPE in recent months.
