Two jets were rushed to track a Russian Helicopter operating close to Latvian airspace. Four RAF Typhoons are based at Siauliai Airbase, providing reassurance to NATO's Baltic members in the wake of the Ukraine crisis.

A Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4 flying over Lithuania. Four Typhoons deployed to Siauliai Air Base in April 2014 as part of the Baltic Air Policing mission, a long standing NATO task securing airspace in the region and providing reassurance to the local population. This footage was filmed from the rear of a Lithuanian Air Force C-27J Spartan aircraft by the Royal Air Force.
